WonderCon 09'
Wondercon was uber fun this year, I haven't been to Wondercon in years so it was great to come back and check how much it has developed and evolved into what it has become right now. Definitely a lot more people than i could ever imagine, especially in the panels. It was pretty crowded, full of gamers, anime, and movie lovers, and people dressed in costumes. Tj, Joses, Pat and I got there maybe around 12-12:30 so we basically missed the Watchmen panel that started at 11:30 so we headed towards the capcom booth where they had Street Fighter 4 up with tournament edition joystick. We also got to see Common (weird, i know) during the Terminator Salvation presentation/panel. Unfortunately, I didn't come home with the Rorshach action figure I wanted because i was low on money. But overall, a great experience and had loads of fun. Can't wait for next year's wonderon. Another Great Ride, Another Great Bike Party
Definitely a lot more people riding this month than the last, maybe around 300? The ride was pretty short because of the cold weather, it was only 12 miles. There was also this cute couple riding a couple bike pulling a couch with built in speakers playing some Daft Punk. Also this guy brought his dog in a baby bike carrier, it was uber cute. The best part was that it smelled like bud, mmm. Don't you ever feel like you've been destined for something bigger than your skin?
 i felt bored for once. well damn, black friday was a bitch once again. After having 4 seperate thanksgiving lunches/dinners, one shot of chartreuse, and a throw up session. i realized that i was not ready for black friday, hah. I stood in line outside of Sports Authority at Great Mall with Jace, Mary, Philip, Loruh, and John cause they were handing out some holiday gift card/bucks towards there store. I got lucky, i had about 40 bucks worth which basically paid for all my future gym clothes and this bad ass Under Armor sweater. After being at the Great Mall for about an hour, it was time to camp out at Micro Center with Philip and Jace. It was about 1 when we got there and it was cold like a bitch. I slept outside from 1am to 8am. Even though it sucked sleeping in the cold on a lawn chair, it was worth it. Walking away with a 22inch lcd for my room, cds/dvds,and a 750GB external Hard Drive felt like heaven. I also stopped by Best Buy and Target after so i basically didnt get home until around 1-2 in the afternoon. I think i spent around 500? which isnt bad at all. I never have anything to write in here anymore. Maybe because I really have nothing to complain about in my life. I'm very happy with my life right now, and i have been for the past few years now. I'm thankful I have a lot of great friends in my life. I'm thankful I have my dream car. I'm thankful I have a nice bike. I'm thankful I live a rad house up in a hill. I'm thankful I have really nice neighbors. I'm thankful I'm going to school and majoring in something that id like to do for the rest of my life. I'm thankful I have loving parents that supports me in anything that i do. Basically, im just thankful for the fact that im still alive and healthy. never forget about the first
 my weekend went off in a great start. took my baby (my bike up above) to bike party on friday for the 1st time with john, ricky, and melissa and it was crazy. just imagine around 250-300 bikers jamming the streets and listening to some motherfucking Justice from a guy's stereo backpack, hah. started from valley fair top parking garage and then stopped at hostetter. Inspiration is hard to come by now a days.
 it started raining last night. and you know what that means, no more biking until the good ol' sun comes up and dry my pretty little road. So lately, I haven't been doing much since i quit the band last month. People always ask me "Why? you've been in the band for so long". Well thats the thing, iv'e been doing it for so long that i needed a break from it to pursue some my own personal interest. I'll still be making music on my own time and on my own terms. Music and making music will always be there in me, i can't escape from it. I used to think that when people say "Music is my life" was non sense, but now it actually means something to me..especially when you try to run away from it after a while. i really enjoyed having summer school and having to create a photography portfolio for the future. Anyways, heres just some images that i used for my final portfolio for my photography class, so ill be posting some more in the near future. my digital photography class <3
so we went on a little adventure with my class on tuesday to experiment with lighting and photography at the yerba buena park (for those who dont know where that is, its the same park where the Metreon is) that was a block away from the academy of arts. I had lots of fun taking pictures of and with my classmates. a day with melissa <3
basically we ate at plutos (mmm, im going to miss that salad now that im going on a no meat diet during july because of brian's bright ass idea, ha) shopped at UO, went to H&M for the first time in the great mall. Actually it my first time going to great mall in maybe 3 years. As you can tell i hate going to malls around here, makes me feel all uncomfortable. As for H&M in great mall, i really don't like it that much, i think the one on powell street is so much better. after we went to get some frozen yogurt at yogurtland and it was packed as usual. I still think fraiche kicks more ass than any of the froyo places ive been to.  carnival at the great mall. after having a chat with melissa (aka the verizon wireless user =p), i realized that i havent updated in a while so here goes nothing!......and nothing it is. whats new? well i just got my dream (subaru wrx FTW!) car and im loving everything about it. Took me a while to learn how to drive it since it was stick but after the third day i got really used to it surprisingly. I also just got on summer vacation about 2-3 weeks ago and its been a blast so far (especially all the frozen yogurt nights i had with all my friends, the beaches, the hangouts, the parties, etc), unfortunately its going to end soon since i have to take summer school. But i know summer school is going to be awesome since im taking digital photography at the academy of art, (i still don't know why my advisor is making me take it but she said its "required", so why the hell not right). So i have to buy my SLR camera (nikon d40) before the 16th of june. Which reminds me, im turning 21 on the 25th of june! im excited! hella party, drink, bbq, smoke out, all in one night (HA! like i havent done that before lol). Also i just got done taking some band pictures with Emily from Ediphotoeye so ima post some here. Shes really good, shes also touring with Portugal The Man and shes hella friendly. She took about like 600 pics of us in like 2 hours which is hella already. Ive also been working on some new paintings on some spare time so maybe ill post some of the progress up soon. Things to buy list: Nikon d40 slr. (800$) Carbon T.I. HKS exhaust system. (900$) xbox 360 wireless adapter. (100$) bianchi bike.
